The Interactive Designer will execute designs and coding for web-based brand content and digital interfaces that support CB2 brand and marketing initiatives for CB2.com, App and other digital experiences. They will use content management systems to build and launch content to meet seasonal and promotional calendars while ensuring interactive digital solutions are customer-focused, intuitive, accessible, and meet all brand standards.

A day in the life as an Interactive Designer…

• Create visual assets and execute visual designs for brand content on homepage, PLP, PDP, Landing Pages, and other website and app elements
• Work in CMS to build and launch day-to-day content and promotional messages to the CB2 website and app
  Execute work schedules in a timely fashion with internal and external project teams
• Create and develop eCommerce interactions. Manage interactive design implementation to take advantage of digital medium to create motion and interactivity
• Manage custom CMS implementation and optimization
• Provide HTML/CSS/Javascript coding to implement visual designs, following existing development standards and code
• Monitor and improve site speed, performance, and web accessibility

What you’ll bring to the table…

• Excellent visual design skills (typography, layout, color, interaction, motion etc.) with an ability to design solutions that bridge customer and business needs
• Ability to design and build responsive, cross-browser, highly-performant, and accessible applications
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Self-motivated and able to implement design and coding independently when needed
• Strong project management skills - able to manage multiple projects and meet all necessary deadlines.
• Strong communication skills - including ability to present work with clear rationale behind solution, clear and concise written communication, and good interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and detail-orientation

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

• Must provide a link to portfolio (including password) on resume or provide PDF samples
• 2+ years previous experience designing and building websites or apps; Retail industry a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, or Computer Science preferred
• Knowledge of MacOS required
• Proficiency in FIGMA, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG Guidelines)
• Motion Graphics and Animation experience a plus
• Familiarity with prototyping and website content management tools
